SEO Inspector privacy policy
This policy covers the SEO Inspector Chrome extension by Jardine Studio. The short version: it reads the page you are on when you click it, shows you the result, and sends nothing anywhere.
The short version
SEO Inspector reads the content of the tab you are on at the moment you click its icon, shows you the on-page SEO of that page, and sends nothing anywhere. It collects no data, stores no data, uses no analytics, and makes no network requests.
What the extension accesses
When you click the icon or press the shortcut, the extension reads the current tab's rendered content: its title, meta tags, headings, links, images, and structured data. It does this once, in your browser, to build the report you see.
It uses two permissions, activeTab and scripting. Together they let the extension read the single tab you invoked it on, and nothing else. It has no host permissions, so it has no standing access to any site or to your other tabs.
What it collects, stores, and shares
Nothing. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data. It has no account, no servers, no analytics, and no trackers. The report is computed locally and discarded when you close the popup. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared or sold, including to Jardine Studio.
Permissions, explained
The extension requests the two narrowest permissions for the job, and nothing broader.
- activeTab: grants temporary access to the current tab at the moment you click the icon, so the extension can read that page.
- scripting: lets the extension run its read on that tab to gather the on-page values.
It does not request access to your browsing history, your bookmarks, your other tabs, or any site in the background.

If the extension changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a published update.
