Three ways to connect your site to Mews

The right option depends on how you want guests to book, your website platform and your Mews plan. Your own date picker doesn't need a custom booking engine behind it.

  • A booking link

    The simplest option. Your Book Now button opens Mews with the guest's dates and party size already filled in. Mews handles availability, payment and confirmation.

  • The Mews booking widget

    Mews opens on top of your page instead of sending guests to another site, so they book without leaving you. Your own date and guest controls can open it.

  • A custom booking engine

    For properties that want to design the whole booking flow. It's a bigger build, and Mews offers it with Enterprise access, so we check your plan with you first.

What a Mews integration costs

Price depends on the option you choose and how much of the booking experience we design. In our cost calculator, connecting a booking tool you already use starts at USD 800. Your written quote confirms the final price.

What we built for Palisades Lodge

We designed and built the booking bar on the lodge's website and the handoff into Mews, so guests start booking on the lodge's own pages.

  • Dates and guests on the page

    Guests choose their arrival and departure dates and the number of adults and children without leaving the site.

  • Dates in the lodge's time zone

    The calendar runs on Pacific time, where the lodge is. Booking late at night, guests get a phone number and a way to pick other dates instead of a dead end.

  • Straight into Mews

    Guests land in Mews with their dates and party already filled in. Mews takes care of availability, payment and confirmation, exactly as it does today.

What we test before launch

Booking is the part of your site guests rely on most, so we test it the way they'll use it.

  1. Dates and guests carry over

    The dates and party size picked on your site match what guests see in Mews, in your property's time zone.

  2. A helpful message, never a dead end

    If a date range or party size won't work, guests see why and what to do next. If the widget can't load, your booking link still works.

  3. Easy on phones and keyboards

    Controls are easy to tap, easy to read and usable with a keyboard, including opening and closing the booking window.

Who is this for?
Independent hotels, lodges and inns that already use Mews and want booking to feel like part of their own website. If you're still choosing a booking platform, our booking engine work covers other platforms too.
Can you connect Mews without rebuilding our website?
Yes. A booking link, the Mews widget or your own booking bar can all go on your current site. We check your platform and access first, and only suggest a rebuild if the rest of the site needs one.
Can we fully customize the Mews booking engine?
You can put your own date and guest controls on your site on any plan. A fully custom booking engine uses the Mews Booking Engine API, which Mews offers with Enterprise access, so we check that with you before planning it.
Is Jardine a certified Mews partner?
No, and this work doesn't need one: Mews doesn't require certification for booking engine integrations. Palisades Lodge is our public example.
Does this include booking tracking or PMS syncing?
Not by default. Tracking completed bookings depends on your Mews setup and consent settings, and syncing your PMS is a separate job. We can plan either one if you need it.
